I need to gush about how much I love Jamberry wraps around the holidays. Yes sure they have amazing nail lacquers and gel polishes, but, as much as I try to do the cute designs such as hearts, anchors, christmas trees, santas, spider webs, skeletons, turkeys, four leaf clovers …. and sooometimes succeed, I can never ever do my own right hand, because, I’m right handed (obviously). I loooove decorating nails according to the season, and each time a holiday rolls around, I stock up on each holiday wrap that Jamberry releases for that holiday. Hey – I figure if there are four weeks in the month, and four wraps for that holiday – you get where I’m going with this! 🙂
Okay, so, I was a bit late to the game with St. Patrick’s day because we bought our first house! We closed on 2.26.16 and have been ridiculously busy moving, cleaning, repairing… BUT I’ll still show you the wraps I have that I’ll either use next week, maybe on my toes, or, save them for next year! My dear Momma’s birthday is on St. Patrick’s Day, so I cut all my St. Patty’s Day sheets in half and sent a half of each sheet to her! ❤ (a sheet does 2 manicures & 2 pedicures with 8 extra accent nail wraps)
The week of St. Patty’s Day I wore the Bit O’ Luck wraps which have matte and metallic colors and feature three different designs. The metallic wraps, which are like foils (like a thin layer of foil and a thin layer of stickiness), are trickier for most people to apply without wrinkles, but, I’ve found that if you really tug (like you would saran/cling wrap) and use the warmth of your fingers to really press and massage the wrap on and smooth around the edges, the foils almost go on better than wraps that are clear, matte, etc. and (for me) last longer!
Do you do your nails (or get your nails done) for St. Patty’s Day? Post a pic in the comments below! 🙂
